Qualifications

  • Master's degree in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, or environmental engineering (equivalent to 120 ECTS points).
  • Strong understanding of process technology and interest in mathematical modeling and measurement technology.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on data collection at a wastewater treatment plant.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize mathematical modeling and digital twin technologies to explore scenarios for improving wastewater treatment operations.
  • Collaborate closely with an industrial partner to implement novel technologies in full-scale operations.
  • Conduct significant fieldwork at the treatment plant in Kalundborg.

Skills

  • Proficiency in mathematical modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with environmental engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Education

  • A two-year master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
