  • Interest in experimental work at pilot scale.
  • Experience with mathematical modeling and computational fluid dynamics is advantageous.
  • Must possess a two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate gas-liquid mass transfer in a 6 m³ U-loop reactor using particle image velocimetry and endoscopic methods.
  • Evaluate the impact of operational variables and design changes on mass transfer and flow patterns.
  • Collaborate with postdoctoral researchers to develop mathematical models for data interpretation and prediction.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and experimental skills in chemical engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in mathematical modeling and computational fluid dynamics.

Education

  • A two-year master's degree in chemical and/or biochemical engineering or a similar field is required.

Tools
