Job summary

This position involves conducting research on continuous crystallization processes within the pharmaceutical sector. The candidate will develop and evaluate innovative crystallization concepts aimed at enhancing the production of pharmaceutical intermediates. The role includes both literature review and experimental work, focusing on equipment development and collaboration with industry partners.

Qualifications

• A strong background in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience in crystallization, separation processes, reaction engineering, fluid flow, particle technology, or pharmaceutical process development is advantageous.
• A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or an equivalent academic qualification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and evaluate continuous crystallization concepts for pharmaceutical intermediates.
• Conduct literature reviews to identify promising flow configurations and key operating parameters.
• Plan and execute flow crystallization experiments and improve laboratory-scale crystallizer setups.
• Investigate the impact of various parameters on product quality and downstream handling.
• Collaborate with industry partners to translate laboratory findings into practical applications.
