Payroll Lead (Remote, Nordics)

Job summary

This role involves leading payroll implementations for the Nordics, focusing primarily on Denmark, within a fully remote environment. Qualifications

• Significant experience in payroll within a client-focused environment.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation in Denmark.
• Proven experience in payroll implementation projects.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions.
• Proficiency in Intega payroll software and local payroll tools like SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international setting.
• Experience in accounting and reconciliations is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll in the Nordics, particularly Denmark.
• Participate in sales calls and client hand-over processes.
• Oversee the planning and execution of payroll implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive records of decisions made during the implementation process.
• Develop and manage project plans and timelines.
• Act as the main contact for stakeholders throughout the implementation.
• Standardize payroll processes and procedures for efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to resolve issues.
• Mentor and support Payroll Generalists in the team.

Skills

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to implement and enhance payroll processes.
• Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

Education

• Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with payroll software, specifically Intega, and proficiency in SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets.
