OT Systems Engineer

Job summary

The role involves maintaining and enhancing the Operational Technology (OT) landscape in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, focusing on system reliability, compliance, and digitalization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in OT, Manufacturing IT, Automation, or Life Sciences.
• Strong understanding of GMP-regulated environments and experience with Change Controls, Deviations, CAPAs, and validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain OT infrastructure and manufacturing systems in compliance with GMP regulations.
• Manage OT servers, virtualization platforms, and industrial networks; troubleshoot complex OT issues.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure reliable operations and support audits and inspections.
• Drive continuous improvements and identify automation opportunities in manufacturing processes.

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with manufacturing systems such as SCADA, Historian, and MES.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols like OPC UA, Modbus, and Profinet.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience with MES platforms, APIs, and data flows between systems.
