Job summary

This role involves leading the Looker practice across the Nordic region, focusing on driving growth and ensuring high-quality delivery of Looker solutions. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and relationship management with Google.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Looker solutions, with deep knowledge of LookML.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud, particularly BigQuery, with skills in query optimization and partitioning.
  • Ability to design end-to-end BI and analytics solutions, making informed decisions on data governance and architecture.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with transformation tools like dbt.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Experience with conversational analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand Looker engagements in the Nordics, identifying new business opportunities and advising clients on analytics.
  • Ensure high delivery standards by reviewing team outputs and maintaining technical excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Google's teams to enhance partnership opportunities.
  • Mentor the data team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with sales to align market trends with Looker features for client offerings.
