Network Architect (Telecommunications, Copenhagen/Aarhus)

Job summary

This role involves planning, designing, and building a future-proof network architecture within the telecommunications sector. The position is part of a team focused on developing mobile core services and consolidating network operations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of routing protocols and redundant setups.
• Experience in test management and CPE/service validation.
• Familiarity with IP/MPLS technologies and sync or optical transport networks.
• CCNP certification or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain Danish Security Clearance.
• Fluent in English; Danish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPE testing, focusing on QoS, forwarding, and tailored solutions for customers.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including decommissioning and replacements.
• Collaborate with vendors to develop and implement technical service solutions.
• Define OSS stack requirements and ensure proper network configuration templates for auto-provisioning.
• Assist with troubleshooting and error reporting to maintain smooth vendor relations.
• Stay updated on security standards and manage potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide education and documentation for stakeholders regarding new features.

Skills

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in network architecture and design.
