Job summary

An Analytics Engineer is sought to join a team focused on delivering high-quality data solutions that support essential data-driven products and operations. This role emphasizes building and refining data models and structures critical for business decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with dbt and modern cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery.
• Strong SQL skills with a background in creating well-structured, reusable models in layered architecture.
• Ability to convert complex business logic into efficient data transformations.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, version control, and basic CI/CD practices for analytics.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain critical data models in dbt for reporting and decision-making in areas like credit and fraud.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to define requirements and success criteria.
• Enhance the semantic layer (LookML) for consistent reporting and self-service exploration.
• Ensure data quality through testing, documentation, and monitoring, including orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Participate in analytics engineering best practices, including code reviews and reducing technical debt.
