An experienced Mechanical Engineer is sought to join an Instrument & Sensor Engineering team focused on Sound & Vibration products. This role involves product ownership, technical leadership, and collaboration with various departments to enhance product quality and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in mechanical product development or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Coupler Portfolio and drive design improvements.
• Investigate product failures and implement corrective actions.
• Act as the mechanical focal point within Product Engineering.
• Review mechanical designs for robustness and manufacturability.
• Support the transfer of new products from R&D to Operations.
• Design manufacturing tools and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

• Knowledge of engineering materials and their applications.
• Familiarity with joining technologies and mechanical failure analysis.
• Experience in multidisciplinary product development environments.

Education

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Tools

• Experience with design and manufacturing tools relevant to mechanical engineering.
