Mechanical Engineer

Job summary

A Mechanical Engineer is sought for the Digital Engineering team, focusing on product ownership of engineering data and design. The role involves managing CAD models and component master data, supporting the design team, and ensuring efficient order execution through robust design and configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience with product configuration and BOM structure management
• Proficient in developing and maintaining 3D CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks
• Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM for managing engineering documentation and workflows

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and maintain modular and configurable 3D CAD Master, including options and sub-assemblies
• Ensure accuracy of BOM for the 3D CAD Master
• Provide support and training to designers on the use of the 3D CAD Master
• Create technical documentation for production and sub-suppliers
• Offer technical support for the creation of new mechanical parts
• Manage the CAD part library
• Participate in high complexity projects, including the development of new products
