Mechanical Commissioning Lead (Denmark)

Job summary

This is a permanent position focused on leading the commissioning of a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark. The role involves ensuring that commissioning activities are executed in the correct sequence, with proper documentation and to the client's standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical commissioning leadership
• Strong understanding of data centre operations is advantageous
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and support their development

Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
• Collaborate with project managers and quantity surveyors on commissioning-related costs
• Develop and implement the commissioning plan
• Coordinate with planners, package engineers, and vendors
• Attend client commissioning meetings and ensure alignment
• Manage specialist vendors and verify commissioning activities
• Maintain commissioning trackers, logs, and weekly progress reports
• Lead system sign-offs and manage snag lists
• Ensure client training is completed on schedule

Education
