Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sports trading, sports data operations, sports journalism, or a similar role requiring sports subject-matter expertise.
• Strong knowledge of professional and collegiate sports across major leagues.
• Familiarity with sports culture, breaking news, and social media related to sports.
• Understanding of official rules and settlement conventions used in major leagues.
• Ability to make sound judgments in complex situations involving statistical corrections and ambiguous outcomes.
• Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends as required by live events.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate system-generated sports markets for accuracy and clarity.
• Verify market times and apply league-specific settlement conventions.
• Approve, edit, or reject markets, documenting reasons for decisions.
• Rewrite prediction questions for clarity and precision.
• Monitor live markets for errors and track relevant developments.
• Participate in calibration reviews to align decision-making with editorial guidelines.
