Legal Counsel

Job summary

The role of Legal Counsel involves providing high-quality legal advice to support the organization's mission of enhancing public health and sustainability. The position requires a pragmatic approach to legal challenges and effective collaboration within the legal team and across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Master of Laws (LL.M) or cand.merc.jur.
• Broad corporate law background, with experience in foundation law, corporate foundations, company law, and governance preferred.
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and legal documents.
• Strong IT skills and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and legal drafting skills in English.
• Ability to engage with various stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily legal advice to the organization and its initiatives.
• Review, negotiate, and draft contracts, grant agreements, and NDAs.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Legal team, particularly in IP and Compliance.
• Assist in preparing materials for the Board of Directors and Management.
• Undertake ad hoc legal projects to enhance internal legal processes.
