LCA Product Expert (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves being the technical authority for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) within a climate tech company focused on sustainable construction. You will set standards for LCA practices, manage technical relationships with concrete producers, and ensure the platform's accuracy by translating standards into product requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in LCA, with deep knowledge of EN 15804+A2, ISO standards, and relevant Product Category Rules (PCRs).
• Background in construction materials, specifically concrete, cement, aggregates, or SCMs.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple technical workstreams against strict deadlines.
• Experience in shipping Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) through verification processes.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in documentation and inputs.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different stakeholder groups.
• High-agency mindset with comfort in autonomous decision-making.
• Willingness to work across time zones and a mission-driven approach to decarbonizing the built environment.

• Own and maintain LCA standards and methodologies as they evolve.
• Manage relationships with concrete producers and review their LCA models.
• Lead interactions with verifiers to defend modeling choices and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape platform requirements based on standards.
• Handle multiple workstreams independently without project management support.
• Salary range: 696,000–864,000 DKK/year plus equity.
• Unlimited paid time off.
• In-person work, 4 days a week in the office located in Copenhagen.
