Job summary

The role of a Laboratory Technician in the Bioanalytical Team involves supporting research and development activities focused on innovative crop protection products. The position is centered on routine analytical tasks, emphasizing accuracy and consistency in laboratory work.

Qualifications

• Qualification as a Laboratory Technician or an MSc in a relevant scientific field
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as GC and/or HPLC
• A pragmatic mindset to balance precision and efficiency
• Familiarity with laboratory health & safety and good laboratory practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quantitative and qualitative analyses of biological samples
• Execute established analytical methods using GC and HPLC techniques
• Process, interpret, and report data results
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of analytical instruments
• Maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, and ensure general housekeeping
• Contribute to laboratory safety and compliance activities
• Collaborate with R&D stakeholders across various teams
