Job summary

The Laboratories Manager is responsible for defining, managing, and executing the testing regime, ensuring the integrity and readiness of laboratory environments for various testing activities. This role involves maintaining lab configurations, supporting functional tests, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Over 5–7 years of experience in managing integration laboratories or test environments related to rail, telecoms, automation, or IT/OT systems.
• Strong skills in configuration management, cybersecurity, calibration, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop laboratory strategies, access rules, and safety controls.
• Maintain lab configurations, simulators, and network connectivity.
• Support FAT, integration tests, and troubleshooting activities.
• Coordinate with various managers and stakeholders for lab readiness and incident control.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and safety regulations.

• Ability to manage lab availability while maintaining baseline control.
• Resilience under pressure during testing deadlines.
• Structured and safety-conscious approach to lab management.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.

Tools
