Job summary

This position is for a student assistant to provide IT support within a game development studio, focusing on hardware and software setup for the development team. The role offers significant responsibility and the chance to learn from experienced colleagues while working approximately 15 hours per week in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Denmark with at least 18 months until graduation.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components.
  • Experience in installing and troubleshooting Windows 11.
  • Interest in technology, business, and the creative industry; knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble high-end game development PCs for new hires and upgrade existing setups.
  • Create spare game development PCs using refurbished components.
  • Transfer PC components from standard cases to rack-mounted cases.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage and work areas.

Skills

  • Basic networking troubleshooting knowledge is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with version control systems.
  • Experience with G-Suite is a bonus.

Education

  • Must be a current student in a relevant field of study.

  • Windows 11, PC hardware components, version control systems, G-Suite.
