Job summary

The IT Sourcing & Partnerships Manager is essential in enhancing the effectiveness and value of the IT supplier ecosystem. This role focuses on creating and implementing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing software license management for compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in IT sourcing, vendor management, or procurement.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT contracts and software licensing models, including SaaS.
  • Proven skills in negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, SAM/ITAM practices, and ITSM tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT sourcing strategies that align with business goals and technology plans.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFP/RFI processes and vendor evaluations.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring optimal value and risk management.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key IT vendors and partners.
  • Oversee software license management, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
  • Enhance the Software Asset Management (SAM) framework in line with IT policies.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders for effective software lifecycle management.
  • Establish vendor governance structures for performance management and KPI reporting.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities across IT expenditures.
  • Provide IT spend analysis and budget planning support to leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing and contract management processes.
