Intern, Equipment Development

Job summary

This internship offers an opportunity to work with a team of specialists focused on developing production equipment for the decoration of LEGO bricks. The role involves translating creative design requirements into functional equipment and supporting the engineering team in optimizing production processes.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an educational institution; the internship should be part of the educational program.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or a technical trainee program in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Product Design and Development, or a related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• Familiarity with 2D drawings, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Theoretical knowledge of mechanics, design principles, and materials.
• Some experience in product or equipment development processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire for technical solutions.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialists to develop new processing equipment based on internal customer requirements.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of new equipment in accordance with established standards.
• Support the delivery and performance monitoring of new equipment to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

Skills

• Technical problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of material science and production processes.
• Knowledge of injection molding and machine design/manufacturing is a plus.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant educational program is required.

Tools

• 3D CAD software (preferably Siemens NX).
