About the role

Job summary

This internship position focuses on supporting advocacy efforts related to Palestine. The role involves contributing to research, policy development, and campaign activities, providing a valuable opportunity to engage in human rights-based advocacy.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the political and humanitarian context in Palestine and Israel.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills for synthesizing complex information.
  • Familiarity with social media for communications and campaigns.
  • Experience with document-sharing and project management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, especially in writing and proofreading.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in advocacy, policy, and research related to Palestine, including background research and trends analysis.
  • Contribute to campaign messaging and policy development.
  • Support research for reports and advocacy tools.
  • Help manage day-to-day project tasks, including planning meetings and events.
  • Engage with civil society networks and partners across Europe.
  • Support communications and campaign activities to enhance visibility.
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Perform proofreading, light translation, and other administrative tasks as needed.
