Information Security Specialist (Remote, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves becoming the first dedicated information security expert in a rapidly growing, remote-first technology organization. The specialist will shape and operationalize the security posture across various environments while enabling secure innovation. Collaboration with IT, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams is essential to safeguard customer data and enhance trust in a distributed SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, GCP, or similar), IAM, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability scanners.
• Knowledge of incident response processes and operational security practices.
• Experience in SaaS or remote-first environments.
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex security concepts.
• Experience evaluating AI/ML tools for privacy and security risks is a plus.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+) are advantageous but not required.
