Industrial Hygiene Leader (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading global industrial hygiene initiatives aimed at safeguarding health, enhancing safety culture, and promoting sustainable practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Hygiene or related EHS roles.
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative exposure assessment.
• Ability to analyze technical and regulatory information and provide actionable recommendations.
• Proven capability to work both independently and collaboratively within global teams.
• Experience in developing or improving corporate safety and health programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tracking systems.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance global Industrial Hygiene programs in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Advance the corporate IH Exposure Assessment Process using standardized methodologies and risk-based decision-making.
• Conduct workplace exposure assessments for chemical, biological, and physical risks.
• Foster a strong safety and health culture through leadership and engagement.
• Design and implement global IH and ergonomics training programs.
• Lead the Enzyme Risk Assessment and Management Program.
• Support incident investigations related to serious injuries and corrective actions.
• Provide IH expertise for EHS audits and participate in new site reviews.

Skills

• Strong communication skills for influencing various levels within the organization.
• Experience in leading corporate Hazard Communication programs.
• Knowledge of REACH regulations.
• Ability to lead through influence and collaboration.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
