Job summary

This role focuses on leading health economics and market access activities for a medical technology portfolio in the Surgery sector. The position involves developing market access strategies, building stakeholder relationships, and supporting evidence generation to enhance funding and procedural adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health economics, health policy, public health, economics, healthcare management, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in the medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of health technology assessment (HTA) and health economics principles.
• Proven experience engaging with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Leadership experience with commercial teams.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement market access strategies for new and existing technologies.
• Create health economics tools that simplify complex messages for sales teams.
• Maintain relationships with payers, healthcare professionals, and government bodies.
• Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and sales teams to align market access activities with business goals.
• Contribute to evidence generation strategies for new product development.
• Provide health economic input for local commercial initiatives and value-based agreements.

• Strong communication skills, both internal and external.

• Experience in strategic planning and overcoming market access challenges.

Education

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline is required.
