Head of Technical Program Management (Consumer Electronics, Hybrid)

Job summary

This role involves leading the program management team focused on delivering innovative embedded technology and physical elements for consumer electronics. The position is critical for ensuring timely and high-quality execution of complex hardware programs while aligning with strategic business goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing complex hardware programs using Waterfall/Phase-Gate methodologies.
• Proven track record in transitioning consumer electronics from development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Minimum of 10 years in technical project and program management within consumer electronics, robotics, or complex technology systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in people leadership, including recruitment and performance management.
• Strong operational focus with experience in scaling technology solutions and collaborating with manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of technical element programs, ensuring they meet quality and timeline standards.
• Define and improve program methodologies, including TDP and Waterfall processes.
• Manage inter-dependencies and resource allocation across multiple projects.
• Oversee delivery of technology systems programs, focusing on high-volume manufacturing transitions.
• Identify and mitigate program risks, leading change control processes as necessary.
• Mentor and coach a team of Program Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
