Job summary

The Head of Manufacturing Excellence is responsible for enhancing the global competitiveness strategy within the manufacturing and warehouse network. This role focuses on identifying, standardizing, and implementing top-tier operational practices to ensure consistent performance and close competitiveness gaps across various regions and sites.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Excellence, or Plant Leadership.
  • Significant senior leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the competitiveness agenda across a global manufacturing and warehouse footprint.
  • Identify and deploy best-in-class operational practices that drive measurable business value.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, cost performance, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the senior authority on manufacturing and logistics competitiveness, providing guidance to senior leaders.
  • Utilize operational diagnostics and data-driven insights to uncover performance opportunities.
  • Drive transformation programs that yield sustainable performance improvements.
  • Lead specialized intervention teams to stabilize and improve underperforming operations.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align operational strategy with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.

  • Strong analytical and results-oriented leadership.
  • Deep expertise in manufacturing competitiveness, lean operations, and performance management.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Data-driven approach combined with strong business acumen.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams in complex, international environments.

Education

  • Engineering degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Tools
