Frontend Software Engineer (Remote, Northern Europe)

Job summary

This position involves developing user-centric, scalable interfaces as part of a digital transformation initiative. The role focuses on building pricing applications that enhance commercial performance across Northern Europe.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React and TypeScript.
• Experience in agile teams and writing maintainable, accessible code with relevant testing practices.
• Familiarity with engineering principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, and exposure to component-based architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical implementation decisions for frontend reliability and performance.
• Advocate for best practices in component architecture, state management, and accessibility (WCAG).
• Maintain and enhance the technical health of pricing-related applications through testing, bug fixing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create pixel-perfect interfaces and seamless user journeys.
• Develop responsive and high-quality user interfaces using modern frameworks.

Skills

• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps, and monitoring tools like Grafana.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.
