Job summary

The Front Desk Clerk serves as the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process while providing exceptional service to guests. This role involves supporting front office operations with professionalism and warmth, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in front office, guest services, or a similar hospitality role is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in handling guest interactions across all channels.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with check-in/check-out procedures, reservation systems, and cash and card transactions.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and hotel management systems for managing bookings and guest records.
  • Calm and composed in high-pressure situations, including emergencies or peak hotel activity.
  • Proactive in addressing guest concerns and finding effective, guest-focused solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in guest requests, billing, and room assignments.
  • Collaborative, working well with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for seamless operations.
  • Enthusiastic about providing personalized service and enhancing the guest experience.
  • Aligned with sustainable hospitality values and motivated to contribute to eco-conscious initiatives.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
