Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing computational physics problems that reflect real-world research workflows. Contributors will utilize Python programming to create and validate these problems, ensuring they are computationally intensive and require advanced reasoning across various physics domains.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem design.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).

Responsibilities

  • Design original computational physics problems based on real research challenges.
  • Create problems that require Python programming to solve, ensuring they are computationally intensive.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard physics simulation libraries.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.

Education

Compensation

  • A degree in Physics or a related field is required.
  • Contributors can earn up to $45 per hour, depending on experience and contribution pace.
