Freelance Low-Code Automation Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This freelance position involves designing and optimizing automation workflows using low-code platforms in a hybrid AI and human environment. The role requires collaboration with Tendem Agents to ensure efficient and reliable execution of workflows across various systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in low-code/no-code automation or software development.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in working with APIs, webhooks, and data formats like JSON.
• Strong experience in managing complex workflows across multiple SaaS tools.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Airtable, Google Sheets, and Notion.
• Demonstrated ability to build reliable automation workflows with error handling and logging.
• Understanding of API limitations and performance optimization techniques.
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate complex automation workflows across various business tools.
• Build and optimize workflows using low-code platforms, APIs, and event-based logic.
• Implement custom JavaScript for advanced logic and data transformations.
• Ensure reliable execution of workflows with proper error handling and logging.
• Troubleshoot and enhance automation performance to reduce failures.
• Automate communication and operational workflows, including messaging and notifications.

Skills

• Experience in real-time vs. scheduled automation workflows.
