Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Strong command of written English (C1 level or higher).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international projects are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, based on specific project needs.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace, with variations based on project scope and complexity.

  • Design original computational engineering problems that reflect real-world workflows.
  • Create Python-based solutions for engineering calculations and simulations.
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive, requiring numerical methods or iterative solutions.
  • Develop problems based on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
  • Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct answers.
