Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing and solving computational chemistry problems using Python. Contributors will engage in tasks that simulate real research workflows and require advanced reasoning in chemistry.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Experience with numerical methods in chemistry.
  • Understanding of computational chemistry concepts and methods.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).

Compensation

  • Design original computational chemistry problems that reflect real research workflows.
  • Create Python-based problems that are computationally intensive and require significant reasoning.
  • Develop problems based on actual research challenges or practical applications in chemistry.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard computational chemistry techniques.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified answers.
  • Estimated workload of 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, subject to project requirements.
  • Earnings of up to $45 per hour, depending on experience and contribution level. Compensation varies by project based on scope and complexity.
