Job summary

This role involves participating in project-based AI opportunities focused on enhancing AI systems through the creation of computational chemistry problems. Contributors will design tasks that simulate real-world chemistry workflows and require Python programming for solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Knowledge of numerical methods in chemistry.
• Understanding of computational chemistry concepts and methods.
• Strong written English skills (C1+).

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, subject to project needs.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $45 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace, with variations based on project scope and complexity.

• Design original computational chemistry problems that reflect actual research workflows.
• Create Python-based problems that are computationally intensive and require significant reasoning.
• Develop challenges based on real research issues or practical chemistry applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard computational chemistry techniques.
• Document problem statements and provide verified correct answers clearly.
