Job summary

This role involves investigating fraudulent activities to enhance online trust and protect consumers and businesses. The Fraud Investigator will work with various teams to learn and apply investigation techniques under the guidance of senior members.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in trust & safety, compliance, data analysis, or basic fraud detection, or relevant academic/internship experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and eagerness to learn about identifying patterns in data.
  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset with a focus on solving complex problems.
  • Attention to detail and efficiency in handling cases.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, welcoming feedback and mentorship.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fraud investigations and prepare informative reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist in preventing and combating fraudulent activities on the platform.
  • Research online fraud trends and convert findings into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with various departments to improve fraud detection tools.
  • Help develop and maintain policies and procedures for investigation operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal investigation processes.

Education
