This role involves investigating fraudulent activities to enhance online trust and protect consumers and businesses. The Fraud Investigator will collaborate with various teams to ensure platform reliability and safeguard the brand from misuse.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fraud investigations and prepare factual reports for stakeholders.
• Prevent and combat fraudulent behavior on the platform.
• Identify and act on bad actors facilitating fraud.
• Gather online intelligence on fraud trends and convert findings into actionable items.
• Serve as a resource for other departments regarding evidence of fraudulent behavior.
• Collaborate with teams to develop fraud detection tools and technologies.
• Escalate issues where misuse and fraud patterns are identified.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of investigation policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal investigation processes.
