Founding Product Designer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading product design for a seed-stage B2B SaaS company focused on creating an AI-native operating system for field service businesses. The designer will work closely with the founding team to develop user-friendly interfaces that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing shipped projects.
• Experience in designing complex B2B products at early-stage startups.
• Hands-on involvement in 0-to-1 product development.
• Proven ability to conduct customer interviews and integrate insights into design.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping tools like Lovable or Cursor.
• Comfort with React and TypeScript, or willingness to prototype in code.
• High ownership and ability to work independently without detailed specifications.
• Preference for longer tenures in previous roles, with valid reasons for any short stints.
• Exceptional recent graduates with a strong project track record are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

• Lead end-to-end product design for a feature-rich platform, from initial concepts to final interfaces.
• Rapidly prototype using Figma and AI tools, and code when necessary.
• Conduct customer interviews to inform design decisions.
• Simplify complex B2B interfaces into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing experiences.
• Collaborate with engineers on a React and TypeScript frontend, contributing code as needed.
• Support various design needs as the company expands, including marketing and branding.
• Salary range: $100,000 to $180,000 USD annually.
• Visa sponsorship available.
• Fully remote position, with a preference for candidates in European time zones, though US East Coast candidates are also welcome.
