Food Manufacturing Sector Specialist (Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing operational performance and hygiene standards in the food manufacturing sector across Northern Europe, specifically within the Nordics. The position is fully remote and involves extensive regional travel (60-80%).

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, Food Technology, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in food manufacturing or the broader Food & Beverage sector.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene, sanitation, or cleaning processes in manufacturing settings.
• Familiarity with CIP systems, membrane filtration, and/or water treatment is a plus.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Scandinavian languages is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects focused on hygiene, cleaning, and production optimization in food manufacturing.
• Support Open Plant Cleaning (OPC) programs and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and food safety improvements.
• Provide technical expertise in cleaning and sanitation applications.
• Conduct customer audits and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers and sales teams.
• Deliver training and support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex challenges related to production, cleaning, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the North Region to provide optimal technical solutions.
