Finance Project Manager (Contract, Copenhagen)

Job summary

Seeking a hands-on Finance Project Manager to support finance transformation and growth initiatives. This role can be structured as an independent consultant engagement or a fixed-term contract lasting 9–12 months. The position involves direct collaboration with the CFO and coordination across multiple departments including Finance, Tech, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in finance project management, particularly in transformation or change settings.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with a knack for simplifying complex topics.
• Proficient in presentations, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• Experience in international or scale-up environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance-related transformation and operational project workstreams.
• Support the CFO in coordinating cross-functional projects.
• Oversee the delivery of key finance projects from start to finish.
• Ensure operational processes are accurate and of high quality.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and presentations, including RAG status updates.
• Schedule and lead steering committee meetings and project reviews.
• Prepare consolidated project status updates and track milestones.
• Identify project risks and delays, escalating as necessary and developing mitigation plans.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to ensure project alignment with company goals.
