Field Service Specialist (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves installing and maintaining high-density liquid cooling products at customer data center sites globally, with a significant travel component. The position is fully remote, requiring effective communication and collaboration with clients and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center maintenance and installation, preferably with high-density liquid cooling systems.
• Strong ability to deliver technical training and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical drawings, including CAD software and Visio.
• Knowledgeable in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, plumbing, pipefitting, heat transfer, and numerical methods.
• Familiar with relevant standards and regulations (NEC, IEC, IEEE).
• Basic understanding of power distribution and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations for installation, maintenance, and warranty support.
• Share technical information during updates and troubleshooting discussions.
• Assist in project planning by defining tasks, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers and CAD designers on design projects.
• Represent the company professionally as a trusted client contact.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and remotely without close supervision.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
