FEM Specialist

Job summary

We are seeking a specialist with extensive experience in Finite Element Method (FEM) for a mechanical development department. The role involves contributing to the simulation competence across various projects and departments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3DXperience or similar software
• Experience in FEM model creation
• Knowledge of Python, including integration with macros in 3DXperience
• Advanced material modeling expertise, particularly with polymers and foams (viscoelastic, plastic, hyperelastic behavior)
• Background in engineering analysis, including structural mechanics, fluid flow, thermodynamics, acoustics, vibroacoustics, drop testing, and magnetic analysis
• Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand simulation models
• Share knowledge and conduct simulations to support projects
• Explore innovative uses of simulation for optimizing hearing instruments and accessories
• Implement new material models for specific simulation tasks

Skills

• Strong understanding of structural mechanics and vibroacoustics
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Education

• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
