Job summary

The Executive Chef is a culinary leader responsible for delivering outstanding dining experiences across various outlets. This role involves overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing kitchen teams.
  • Experience managing multiple service areas, including à la carte dining and high-volume events.
  • Knowledge of food cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Danish food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all culinary operations, including breakfast service, in-room dining, and banqueting.
  • Ensure exceptional food quality and consistency across all services.
  • Develop menus and plan seasonal offerings to enhance guest experiences.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to maintain quality and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure seamless service across departments.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Education

  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems.
