Job summary

A hands-on Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) is sought to lead a pioneering Brain Health project from early-stage research to commercialization. This role involves building a start-up focused on treating neuromuscular and CNS diseases, leveraging cutting-edge scientific discoveries.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., RNA chemical biology, medical or life sciences) or strong life science background with start-up experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in the life sciences sector.
• Proven track record in small-molecule drug discovery and project management, particularly in translational or preclinical development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in negotiating and managing collaborations and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and Research Institute to develop project strategies and business plans.
• Plan and monitor project milestones and execution.
• Engage in fundraising and manage annual financial reporting.
• Handle contracts with suppliers and universities.
• Build and lead a motivated project team, ensuring effective stakeholder management.
• Chair quarterly Project Board meetings and provide advisory support to other projects.
