Job summary

This role involves leading a distributed engineering team focused on Linux software and hardware integration. The position requires collaboration with silicon partners to enhance Ubuntu across various platforms, including PC, IoT, and server-class hardware.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Linux distributions, particularly Ubuntu or Debian, and familiarity with Debian packaging.
• Background in high-performance server-class hardware or modern PC and IoT platforms.
• Experience in managing or leading software engineering teams, including mentoring and performance development.
• Strong software engineering skills with the ability to lead technically across complex systems.
• Experience in customer or partner engagement, addressing technical challenges and business needs.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and collaborative project delivery.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related field.
