Engineering Manager (Managed Services, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading a distributed engineering team focused on managing and improving cloud infrastructure services. The Engineering Manager will ensure operational excellence while fostering a collaborative environment across various teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field, or relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in software engineering with languages such as Python, Go, C, C++, or Java, and/or managing technical operations teams.
• Demonstrated experience with OpenStack.
• Strong understanding of software quality practices and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Linux system administration; familiarity with Ubuntu or Debian is advantageous.
• Solid grasp of cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused approach to service delivery.
