Job summary

The SDU Drone Center is seeking an Engineer Assistant for a full-time, three-year position to support ongoing and future research projects in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The role involves working in a collaborative research environment focused on drone technologies and applications across various sectors.

Qualifications

  • Relevant engineering degree in drone technology, robotics, electronics, software, or related fields at MSc level or higher.
  • Experience in research and development of drone platforms, subsystems, and payloads (UAV, UGV, USV).
  • Proficiency in mechanical design and construction, composites, electronics design, software development, embedded systems, sensors, and signal processing.
  • Familiarity with UAS operations, including experiments and piloting.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the SDU Drone Center's project portfolio and outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers to develop innovative drone solutions.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

  • MSc degree or higher in relevant engineering fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities for drone research.
