Job summary

This role is responsible for leading global employability initiatives and career support resources within the organization. The position involves strategic development and delivery of employability propositions to enhance career journeys for members and future members.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in the professional education sector, preferably with an employability focus and international exposure.
  • Strong understanding of the education landscape, particularly in accountancy, and stakeholder needs.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing employability strategies and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of local and national employment trends and training.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse groups, including those facing employment barriers.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to achieve tangible outcomes through collaboration.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with web usability and web analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and promotion of employability propositions and career support resources.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to support members throughout their career journeys.
  • Embed employability initiatives across the organization and ensure market understanding.
  • Develop and implement new career skills initiatives, including AI solutions.
  • Support partnerships with employers to create work experience and employment pathways.
  • Review and enhance career support resources based on data and insights.
  • Oversee the ACCA Careers job board to maintain high standards and accessibility.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure quality delivery aligned with service agreements.
  • Set strategies for product enhancements, pricing, and market expansion.
  • Line manage the ACCA Careers Platform manager.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
