About the role

Job summary

As an Element Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative LEGO elements that align with the brand's creative vision. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create high-quality products that inspire children's creativity.

Qualifications

  • Degree in design, industrial design, or a related field
  • Experience with 3D design software such as ZBrush, Freeform, Rhino, or NX, along with Photoshop
  • Strong skills in hand sketching, sculpting, and character design; experience in physical modeling is a plus
  • Understanding of technical production and manufacturing processes, including molding, is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Translate 2D materials into 3D elements
  • Create sketches, digital sculpts, and 3D prototypes while evaluating their feasibility
  • Apply engineering principles to ensure designs meet mechanical and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers, Model Design teams, Graphic Designers, and Concept Designers
  • Support the development and refinement of LEGO prototypes through design iterations and testing
  • Drive concept element development and create design documentation
