Electrical QC Inspector

Job summary

This permanent position involves ensuring that electrical systems and installations meet safety and quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. The role is integral to delivering engineering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Trade/Construction or a third-level qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead or managerial role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to high standards and quality results.
• Proficient in MS Office and BIM 360 Field Management or similar tools.
• Experience in Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems and installations for compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Monitor and verify quality control of electrical works.
• Conduct various electrical tests to ensure functionality and safety.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and non-conformance reports.
• Identify and report non-conformance items, collaborating with relevant personnel for resolution.
• Work closely with engineers and contractors to address quality-related issues.
• Ensure safety compliance in all electrical work.
• Inspect incoming electrical materials for quality standards.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement in processes and quality control systems.
