Job summary

The role involves overseeing the Electrical Package from planning to handover, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale electrical installations. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification and/or a degree in electrical engineering, electrical installation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in large electrical installation projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in managing multi-contractor environments and industrial relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
  • Familiarity with design-and-build delivery models.
  • Solid technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in project scheduling and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Electrical Systems package, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and close-out.
  • Coordinate Site QA with the QA Manager and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Co-manage site safety with the Electrical Project Manager and Safety Advisor.
  • Maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager and client milestones.
  • Oversee daily site activities and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and conduct weekly coordination meetings.
  • Operate the snagging system and ensure timely issue of punch lists.
  • Attend various project meetings and deliver final account documentation.
  • Schedule and track material deliveries to align with the project programme.
  • Maintain a weekly photographic diary and ensure documentation is up to date.
