Electrical Engineer

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the electrical delivery on construction and fit-out projects, ensuring high-quality installation of electrical and building services systems. The position requires a hands-on approach with responsibilities spanning site supervision, technical design contributions, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical engineering or building services engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and installation.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and coordination.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical systems, including team oversight, subcontractor coordination, and material deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and project schedules.
• Oversee installation of electrical equipment and systems, coordinating with other disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, including RFIs and method statements.
• Enforce site safety and quality standards, managing snagging processes and compliance checks.
• Track project schedules and manage material procurement and reporting.
