Job summary

The role involves advanced signal processing and algorithm development for diagnostic hearing and balance solutions. The position is based at the company's headquarters in Berlin or Middelfart, and it requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in software, electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, photonics, health technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in signal processing, algorithms, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with DSP concepts such as filtering, time-frequency analysis, noise reduction, adaptive algorithms, or statistical signal analysis.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar programming tools.
  • Ability to analyze, validate, and optimize algorithm performance using data.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Structured approach to documentation and quality-focused development.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (MedTech, automotive, aerospace, defense) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Simulate physical phenomena and translate results into meaningful data.
  • Develop and refine signal processing algorithms for real-world applications.
  • Translate algorithms into efficient embedded implementations on resource-constrained hardware platforms.
  • Work with the complete signal chain, from signal acquisition and processing to interpretation and performance evaluation.
  • Validate algorithms using synthetic and real-world datasets through performance benchmarking and testing.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across software, systems, hardware, and project management.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, technical investigations, and product innovation.
  • Support verification, validation, documentation, and regulatory development activities within a MedTech environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a technical field such as software engineering, electrical engineering, or related disciplines.

Tools
